People of the East will not take this as serious, because hurricanes come far and in between. The facts are this. We already know it ripped through North Carolina leaving a small amount of devastation, but I can see danger. I can see it moving fiercely through Washington DC, Delaware, and then Pennsylvania. This thing is so large, and will have already picked up speed by Saturday night. By Sunday it will hit the edges of New York at wind speeds of 127 miles per hour. Then Jersey which has already seen much flooding and no power. my late Sunday night and early Monday it will be at full force reaching winds at 145 mils per hour. When Tuesday comes, it will be on its way to its home on the ocean. Its path in two states, mainly Jersey, will have suffered most. Take cover folks and trust me. Thanks and stay safe, Seka.

I too see devastation comin. it will run over the tri state like a rolling steer, and many trees will be down. This will cause a trickle effect. The trees will cause power outs in many cities, and they will be without for days. The flooding will be unlike anyone has ever seen. The water will rise before the storm hits, and continue to do so for three whole days. Many will suffer the wrath of Irene. If you are a prayer, do so. If not, it wouln't hurt you to start.

The darkest hours will be Sunday afternoon through Monday evening. The fact that all communications will be down, is the frightening thing here. Many will feel a sense of safety but the eye is a very warm and safe place to be, only to feel like you are getting hit again once the eye passes. This part of it is more dangerous then the others. This is where the weakened trees will all tumble. Cars will roll, and homes will crush.
