STOP CHILD ABDUCTION Lately many cases of child abduction have been in the news. My daughter and I were discussing how awful all of this is and how it must feel to be a victim or the one searching. I asked her what she thought about the idea of having a GPS device implanted in her body so that if she was missing she could be tracked. I was shocked by her answer. She stated, "Mom, I would want to be found even if I was dead." If you were given a choice to have a tiny sensor implanted in your child that could be tracked via GPS, would you do it? With today's technology I know we can make this possible. If predators knew that a child might have an implanted device would it stop child abduction? I do not think it would end child abduction. I do think it would deter child abduction. Some external devices with limited capabilities are available. Think about the pros and cons. In certain situations they are very helpful, but how easy would it be for someone to remove them from a child? Too easy. www.brickhousesecurity.com/locator.html
